The competition will take place on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. Seven young folk acts, under 18 years, will be judged on talent, audience response,stage presence, personality and overall performance.This will be a juried competition.

The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) manages two facilities in Newport, the Performing Arts Center (PAC) and Visual Arts Center (VAC), in keeping with its mission, which is to celebrate, promote and develop community arts.
