The first two Sundays will focus on Acting Basics, including voice, body language, character development, audition skills and more. The following two Sundays will include some acting, but focus on set design and construction, backstage support, lights and sound engineering and design, finding and making props, and volunteer opportunities in the box office, ushering, fundraising and maintenance. Even though all four Sundays will include a portion on acting skills, participation is always optional and those who wish to remain off stage can do so.

Both Kaline and Ellen have appeared in a variety of roles at Theatre West and Kaline has directed a number of plays. Classes are free and designed for adults over the age of sixteen.
