Event Description:

Jane Eyre is a 2011 film based on Charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel of the same name. The film begins with Jane fleeing in the middle of the night and finding herself alone on the moors, in the pouring rain. She reached the doorstep of Moor House, the home of Mr. St. John Rivers, a clergyman, and his two younger sisters, who take her in. Her earlier story is told in flashbacks, from her abusive childhood to her years as a governess for Edward Rochester's ward. Mia Wasikowska stars as the title character and Michael Fassbender as Mr. Rochester The film's costume design, led by Michael O'Connor, was nominated for an Academy Award.
