"I’m Not Running" is an explosive new play by David Hare, premiering at the National Theatre and broadcast live at 7 p.m. Friday, Mar. 29 at the Newport Performing Arts Center (PAC), 777 W. Olive St. in Newport. The event is hosted by Michele Peters.

Hare was recently described by The Washington Post as "the premiere political dramatist writing in English." His other work includes Pravda and Skylight, broadcast by National Theatre Live in 2014.
National Theatre Live is an initiative by the UK’s National Theatre to broadcast live performances onto cinema screens around the world. Since its first season, which began in June 2009, millions have now experienced the National’s work on movie screens worldwide.
