Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 1, when the Museum doors open at 5 pm for a night of fine dining and entertainment as Coos Art Museum presents its Fall Fling Fundraiser. A center-piece of the evening will be an elegant four course sit-down dinner catered by Benetti’s Italian Restaurant. Guests will also be treated to a two-part ballet dance performance following the theme of “Land and Sea” presented by Dance Umbrella. Candace Kreitlow will also enliven the event by providing harp music for the evening.
Along with the dining and entertainment attendees will have the opportunity to purchase some very fine art from the Museum’s Rental-Sales Gallery. The theme of “Land and Sea” will be reflected in the art for sale as well as the dance performance.
The “Fall Fling Fundraiser” is a great way to become acquainted with the Coos Art Museum and to help support its worthwhile programs. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support museum programs for 2017. The event is also a perfect time to consider membership in the Museum for the upcoming year.
Event tickets are $55 and special discounts are available for groups of 8. For event tickets call 541-267-3901. Advance ticket purchases are strongly encouraged; please RSVP by September 26th.
