Shakespeare Camp: Students participating in Shakespeare Camp will perform an abridged production of “The Tempest.” This camp is directed and costumed by Shakespearean scholar Rod Molzahn.
Molzahn brings many years as a Shakespearean scholar and his own acting skills in the persona of Shakespeare to both the production and a community function, "Dinner With Will."
Auditions for parts in "The Tempest" will be held in June. Dates for Shakespeare Camp are Aug. 1-12. Free performances are set for 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11; donations to support the camps are welcome. "Dinner With Will" is held at the Sylvia Beach Hotel on Tuesday, August 9 at 6 p.m. Reservations for dinner must be made in advance with the OCCA (call 541-265-2787 to reserve), cost is $40 per person.
