Event Description:

In this figure drawing workshop, learn to draw from a live nude model. Explore how to use proportion, measurements and reference points on the skeletal and muscular systems to create life-like drawings. Topics covered include establishing the gesture, blocking in major masses, contour drawing, comparing measurements, skeletal points and muscle groups, using proportional systems and "zones of illumination." Leave with some finished drawings, handouts on anatomy and a lot of information to refer to for future drawing practice.
