In conjunction with the summer Shakespeare Camp production, Master William Shakespeare will preside over dinner at the Tables of Content Restaurant at the Sylvia Beach Hotel.
This traditional event will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. Shakespeare scholar and actor Rod Molzahn brings Shakespeare to life and a limited number of diners will be invited to sit with him, prior to his conversation with all the attendees.
Shakespeare talks about love, death and the qualities of a good wife… He’ll also answer questions about life in England.
Reservations and dinner choices are required prior to the evening, and usually include red meat, fowl, fish, or vegetarian entrée, seasonal vegetables, bread, desserts, and coffee or tea. Other beverages are also available at an additional cost.
Cost for the dinner is $45, and to guarantee a seat at the master’s table dinner will be $55. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Call the OCCA office at 541-265-ARTS (2787) for reservations.
