Embark on a journey of creativity and exploration as you construct a mixed media, unique artist’s book that reflects your life, memories and dreams. Using the Oregon coast and the Pacific Ocean as your muse, construct a book with heavy watercolor paper, rice papers, muslin and silk. Use vintage, textured and handmade papers along with gesso and matte medium to make beautiful, multi-layered surfaces for the pages. Finally, embellish your work with paper, metal bits and ephemera that you connect, stitch, wire, tie, wrap, hang, and weave to create a book you will be sure to treasure.
