Wander, sketch, glean ideas and discover what speaks to you out under the trees. In this workshop, forays into the forest to make marks, collect objects and glean ideas will lead to a sequence of studio projects using watercolor, ink and gouache. Color, design and composition studies will transform into drawings, both careful and wild. Finally, paintings informed by this process will reveal your own creative themes and evoke energies of the forest.
