Event Description:

Explore the vocabulary of the woven form while building on sculptural concepts through a technique known as random weave. Begin by weaving vessels with nature-based and reclaimed materials. Then, embellish your form using fabric and paper layered with encaustic medium, object entrapment and other mixed-media techniques. Take home one or more finished projects and skills and ideas for future two-dimensional and three-dimensional projects.
