"Upcycled Aluminum Cans"
Transform discarded aluminum cans into things of beauty. Create three different projects, each focusing on a different aspect of the recycled metal. Weave aluminum to fashion book covers for the journal we will make complete with a pull tab closure. Form pieces of can into flowers that can be made into earrings or hair clips then layer and texture pieces of the can to create an artistic pendant.
Skill Level: All Levels; Class Limit: 16; Materials Fee: $10
"Upcycled Aluminum Cans" is taught by Doris Arndt, who has shared her love of book binding, jewelry making and working with other media for over 15 years by teaching workshops and exhibiting throughout the country.
