Artists Studio Association (ASA) instructors in Lincoln City
offer painting, drawing, mosaics and polymer clay classes for
artists with all levels of experience. Classes run for 8 weeks.
Additionally, the classroom is open on Sundays for ASA members and
the public who wish to work on their art in a non-structured open
Drawing Beyond the Fundamentals, with Krista
Eddy, instructor, starts Jan. 13 and is held from 4 to 6 p.m.
Sundays. The class is open to all ability levels and in it students
will delve into the study of value, as well as perspective, the
human form, simplification in drawing and more. All of the ideas
from the class will culminate in a large, finished, mixed media
illustration that will be created in the last few days of class. To

Students will need an assortment of drawing pencils, a white
eraser, colored pencils and a sketchbook 8-1/2" x 11" or
ASA is a community of artists dedicated to bringing arts
education and enjoyment to students of all ages and from all walks
of life. In addition to the regular class sessions, ASA sponsors
one-day workshops as offered by visiting artists. All classes are
taught in the studio classroom behind the Co-Op Gallery at 620 NE
Hwy 101, Lincoln City. Some scholarships are available. The
