Meade made her professional opera debut at the Met as Elvira in Giuseppe Verdi's Ernani in 2008, a role she recently repeated with the company in February 2012. At the Met she has also performed the roles of the Countess in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro (2009) and the title role in Anna Bolena (2011). Other highlights of her career include performances at the Caramoor International Music Festival in the title roles of Gioachino Rossini's Semiramide (2009) and Vincenzo Bellini's Norma (2010), and performances of the title role in Saverio Mercadante's Virginia at the Wexford Festival Opera in 2010. In 2012 she is scheduled to make her debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as Lucrezia Contarini in Verdi's I due Foscari.
