  • Neal C. Lemery

My writing and my art allows me to fully explore my desire to help others advance in their lives, and reach their full potential. By writing about mentoring, and my experiences working with young prisoners, I hope to encourage others to reach out and help others reach their full potential in their lives, and see endless possibilities. My photography, poetry, and painting allows me to reach deep inside of me, and connect with the beauty of the Oregon Coast, and the wonder and beauty of our own lives and community. I’ve been published in regional literary journals, local newspapers, and The Oregonian, and my photography has been selected in regional juried shows, including the Oregon State Fair. “Be the change you want to see in the world.” -- Mahatma Gandhi.
