OCCA strengthens the arts by ensuring that the Oregon coast has a rich and vibrant arts community through support and promotion of arts organizations and individual artists.

This directory represents the coastal areas of Oregon, which include Clatsop, Tillamook, Lincoln, Coos, and Curry counties and the coastal towns of Lane and Douglas counties.  OCCA is the regional arts council for this area. Learn more about OCCA's regional arts activities.

    Kimberly Wurster, a south Coast resident who, in 1995 shifted her artistic focus from classical cello to painting fine art, paints representational birds, wildlife and landscapes in pastel, watercolor and acrylic. "I spend a lot of time observing birds and wildlife," she says. The habitat in which her subjects are found, as well as strong patterns of light and shadow provide an endless source of inspiration for this artist.

  • Lincoln Pops Orchestra (Lincoln Pops Big Band)

    The Lincoln Pops Orchestra, also known as the Lincoln Pops Big Band, has been performing in Lincoln County for more than 30 years. The band has evolved into one of the finest big bands in Oregon. A nonprofit organization, the Lincoln Pops is dedicated to preserving and passing along the heritage of the big band era.
