OCCA strengthens the arts by ensuring that the Oregon coast has a rich and vibrant arts community through support and promotion of arts organizations and individual artists.

This directory represents the coastal areas of Oregon, which include Clatsop, Tillamook, Lincoln, Coos, and Curry counties and the coastal towns of Lane and Douglas counties.  OCCA is the regional arts council for this area. Learn more about OCCA's regional arts activities.

  • North Coast Chorale

    The North Coast Chorale is a welcoming; community-based non- profit organization dedicated to the presentation of great choral literature and is committed to the promotion of music education. You'll find us at our winter and spring concerts as well as special events such as the Messiah Community Sing-along to benefit local foodbanks, collaborating with the Astoria Music Festival, and other concerts.

    An appreciation of technique and craft has defined Northwest By Northwest Gallery since 1987, celebrating the beauty and spirit of the Northwest. The gallery is located on the Pacific Coast in the scenic town of Cannon Beach, Oregon. Located downtown across the street from the City Park & Info Center on Spruce, the gallery opens every day at 11 a.m.

  • Nestucca Valley Artisans

    Nestucca Valley Artisans is a group of diverse Artists, photographers, weavers, jewelers, potters,leathersmiths,and sculptors. We are from the Nestucca Valley communities of Neskowin, Pacific City, Cloverdale, Otis, Hebo and surrounding areas. NVA hosts a Artisan Festival the last weekend in August in Pacific City at Kiwanda Community Center.

  • North Coast Symphonic Band

    The North Coast Symphonic Band formed in 1979 in Astoria and performed its first concert in 1980. Originally funded by Clatsop Community College, since 2003 it has been a separate organization with 501(c)3 status run by a board of directors. There are approximately 45 musicians who participate in weekly rehearsals and perform in 4-5 public concerts per season. Members are volunteers and are not compensated for attending rehearsals or performing in concerts. Funding for the current season comes partially from grants from the City of Astoria Art and Cultural Fund to Promote Tourism and the Fred W. Fields Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation.

  • North Coast Symphonic Band (1)

    Located on the North Coast of Oregon, the North Coast Symphonic Band represents community music at its finest providing local musicians with an outlet for their talents and local audiences with affordable entertainment. The NCSB formed in 1979. Volunteer musicians come from the broader community and range in age from teens to eighties. The NCSB performs four concerts per year at the Liberty Theater in Astoria, Oregon. Current conductor and musical director Dave Becker is retired Director of Bands from Lewis and Clark College. Ticket revenue does not cover expenditures so donations and grants are an important source of revenue that make it possible for the band to continue its mission. The North Coast Symphonic Band is a 501c3 non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible.

  • One of Us Productions

    We are a community theater, organized into a nonprofit theater, from an old group called One of Us. We do two shows a year, usually comedies. Our board consists of eight members and they meet once a month. We use our extra funds to help community groups and individuals in Yachats.

    Oregon Coast Children's Theater was founded in 1990, and trains students in the study of the fine and performing arts, theatre, film, music, media arts, design, circus, dance, writing, traditional and folk arts like puppetry.
