OCCA strengthens the arts by ensuring that the Oregon coast has a rich and vibrant arts community through support and promotion of arts organizations and individual artists.

This directory represents the coastal areas of Oregon, which include Clatsop, Tillamook, Lincoln, Coos, and Curry counties and the coastal towns of Lane and Douglas counties.  OCCA is the regional arts council for this area. Learn more about OCCA's regional arts activities.

  • Newport Performing Arts Center

    The Newport Performing Arts Center is the premiere performance venue on the Oregon coast. It is home to a group of resident companies affectionately called the PACRATs. This Performing Arts Center Resident Artist Team consists of community music, theatre, and dance producers who keep the facility busy year-round. It also serves touring artists, non-profits, for profits, and individuals as space permits.

  • Newport Public Library

    Newport Public Library serves the Newport area (which includes South Beach, Agate Beach, and Newport proper) and offers numerous services and programs, including toddler and preschool story times, computer classes for adults, monthly reading circle, the Literary Flicks series of monthly film screenings, and online access to its holdings databases. Internet terminals are available for use by the general public.
