The registration window for the Newport Paper & Book Arts Festival opens in early February. Given limited class sizes and to be fair to all interested participants, initial registration is conducted via the US postal system, with time allowances for potential enrollees from across the country.
The Oregon Coast Council for the Arts (OCCA) will mail the official class schedule and registration brochure to its NPBAF mailing list in late January and return registrations will then be accepted back to OCCA via regular mail. Registrations are then put in postmark order. (Registrations are not accepted by email or over the phone.) The initial brochure mailing often results in many classes meeting their maximum capacity quite quickly, so enrollees are encouraged to return their registrations as soon as possible.
If you are interested in attending the festival at the Newport Visual Arts Center, and are not currently on the brochure mailing list, email the registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 541-265-6540 to be added to the mailing list. Join us for this exciting paper and book arts event!
